Vegoose Day 1 update

BECK fukkin brought it last night. He and his band dressed up as a boy scout troop and the stage set up had a camping/campfire theme. Its hard to describe, but just imagine a bunch of Boy Scouts in Chaos onstage with a dome tent next to the drum kit next to a plastic deer and fake campfire. It was very clever and funny. Beck ran through material from all of his works fairly equally and gave us the Merit Badge in Ghetto Blasting. Definitely one of the best shows that I have seen in 2005.
STS9 had a great show at the House of Blues late night. Fri night we saw Dave & Tim and then a late night Trey Anastasio show...Trey showed some old greatness during a set ending Mr. Completey and a First Tube encore.
